Ciganos
Commissioned by the Centro Portuguès de Fotografia, Bruce Gilden documented the world of Ciganos, the gypsies of Portugal. In the book, Bruce uses his patented black and white aesthetic to explore their harsh daily life, and expose what lies behind the often world-weary faces.
